Revitalize the Workday

Because sustaining high performance requires quality rejuvenation.

Work stress is inevitable…

The standard working life will have periods of crazy schedules, heavy workloads, and hectic home lives.

Pushing through a heavy grind gets the job done in the short-term, however a lack of adequate rejuvenation is detrimental to both the worker and the employer.

Eventually, putting in “a hard day’s work” only gets harder, performance degrades, increasing the likelihood that burn-out or breakdown will impact corporate culture and the bottom-line.

Without quality rejuvenation, high performance is unsustainable.

… the side effects don’t have to be.

With the right approach and skillset, rejuvenation can be infused into the working hours – within minutes or less.

Why?

To protect workplace psychological safety, mental health, and well-being in a way that builds sustainable and burn-out proof workdays.

How?

By training and implementing a skillset that enables quality performance AND rejuvenation on-the-job.

When Work and Rejuvenation exist together…

  • Heavy workloads become more manageable.
  • High performance becomes sustainable.
  • Investing in well-being becomes a clear win-win.

What is Workovery™?

Work Hard – With less of the side-effects.

About Workovery Method™ Founder, Tim Kessler

I am a Canadian Nomad and business owner currently located in Foothills, AB.

I help successful and overworked professionals to transform their relationship with the hustle and grind.

My clients continue to work hard with less of the side effects and a whole lot more of the things that light them up.

This means instead of waiting for time off or a vacation that you need a vacation from, you can tap into on-demand rejuvenation even when stress is high and time is tight.

My unique perspective comes from my passion for human performance combined with my lived experience in overcoming common side effects of working under various job demands in labour, shift-work, caregiving, and at the desk.

1. Mental health advocates/people leaders striving to bridge the gap between strategy and meaningful action among employees. I help by:

✓ Addressing team-specific work-related stress and health issues.
✓ Cultivating awareness of their team’s well-being skills and abilities.
✓ Fostering team spirit that supports individual aspirations and work-life fulfillment.
✓ Developing a skill development strategy to prevent burnout and sustain quality performance.

2. Successful professionals who work hard but seek better health, reduced stress, and stronger personal connections. These clients often come to me when they reach a breaking point such as a health scare, uncertainty about staying in their job, or recognize they are costing themselves too much to keep up this space. They benefit from:

✓ Reclaiming valuable time for important aspects of life.
✓ Overcoming habits that hinder personal growth and productivity.
✓ Cultivating an unwavering commitment to well-being.
✓ Reclaiming their identity beyond their busy professional life.
✓ Improving sleep quality for increased energy and motivation.

“Just shake it off!” | The actual way to ‘shake-off’ stress and boost energy in the workday.

Ever notice how good it feels to stretch, move, and yawn after a deep sleep or after sitting for long hours? You might notice this more often in children and animals. This is a necessary physiological response called pandiculation: “the medical term for the stretching and stiffening of the trunk and extremities, often accompanied by yawning, to arouse the body… Continue reading “Just shake it off!” | The actual way to ‘shake-off’ stress and boost energy in the workday.

Where ergonomic standards fall short.

Why I think the average person is ‘doing it wrong’ even with great equipment and perfect posture… “…[because] the BEST posture, is the NEXT posture.”– Peter Opsvik, ‘Father’ of ergonomic furniture design. I’ve worked in a lot of places since entering the workplace at 14 yrs old. I’ve worked in tire shops, golf courses, rec centres, delivery… Continue reading Where ergonomic standards fall short.

Keep calm and steady under pressure or when a sh!t storm is brewing. This photo was taken by a dear friend, both of us with minimal experience and a basic understanding of the fundamentals in keeping safe on the open sea.  This moment of calm – watching a distant weather system brew up, keeping an… Continue reading The Amateurs can beat the Pros with this one key tool…

“Up to 80 percent of people unconsciously hold their breath, or breathe shallowly, when responding to email or texting.” – Linda Stone, researcher, and former executive at Apple and Microsoft. Commonly referred to as “Email Apnea”, it is common for hard working people to undergo periods of shallow or limited breathing during screen time, stress, and sedentary behaviour.  The… Continue reading The good and the bad of holding your breath while you work.
